INTERIOR STYLE: Colorful – Vintage

Meet Sandra Pipping, the face behind Pip interior advice and styling. Cheerfulness shines from her advice, which often includes color and a sustainable touch.

Love for interior design

Sandra works in the marketing industry. A super fun job where writing and online marketing are key. The passion for interior design was there from an early age. It kept itching, so 3 years ago she decided to do something with it. Evenings were spent studying as a interior stylist and weekend plans were adjusted to learn even more about this profession.

From styling assignment to total package

And this turned out to be more fun than expected! "During college, I did helped some friends with styling advice. Via via, the first assignments then came my way." By now, Pip interior offers a total package for a new home, think about furniture, floor and walls. But she also likes to work out advice for existing houses, complete with SketchUp designs to give a realistic picture.

Cheerful and short

The name Pip interior did not come about by chance. "Ever since I can remember friends have called me Pip. I also think Pip is a cheerful, clear and short name." That cheerfulness is reflected in her advice. Often a mix of vintage, color and a touch of Bohemian. Also characteristic is the green edge. "I like to buy second-hand. The price is often better and it's more sustainable."

Sofas Finn and Moa

In the By SIDDE studio, Sandra has styled two sofas. Sofa Finn set 7 in Clay Stone forms a quiet base. The rug is the starting point for the colors in the accessories. By repeating tones, the whole stays subtle. It shows that adding color does not have to be exciting.  The old bar stool that the plant stands on was a DIY project. The neon pink adds spice to the setting.

Sofa Moa in Mixed Clay has been given a warm look, mixed with Bohemian. The warm atmosphere was created by using soft materials, like the high-pile rug and colors like terra and ochre.

Dreams

"Writing has always been my thing. A dream would be to be able to write about interior design for certain magazines. In the consulting field, I would love to take on a restaurant styling project. And then go wild with prints and color."

Tip from Pip

Look carefully at the layout of a house to make the best use of spaces. Decide what functions you want to give them and ensure a pleasant flow. In addition, you do not necessarily have to stick to color rules. As long as you use colors in different places, you can still create tranquility.
