A vacation feeling in your own home. That's what Duifina wanted to create in her newly built home. Here she lives since 5 months with her husband Jeroen, daughter, two sons and dog Harry.
Japandiza
There is a mix of Japandi and Ibiza in the house. The name "Japandiza" was created that way. The Mediterranean vibe means a lot to Duifina. "I actually call it a lifestyle. It creates peace in your body and mind."

A source of inspiration
With the move to the new home, the interior design account @japandiza_living was born. A place to inspire followers on interior design, lifestyle and Mindset. Mindset is something Duifina has been working on a lot lately.
Searching for passion
After a 17-year career with the same employer, a certain, mental restlessness remained. This was the beginning of a search for passion. "I took a career course, a mindfulness course and read many books about Mindset. I noticed by 'standing still' for a while that there was more room for inspiration and creativity." Thus a website of her own was born.
Element sofa Finn
She writes on the site not only about Mindset, but also about interior design. In the living room, sofa Finn shines. The color Simply Beige fits nicely with the rest of the bright room. It was quite a search to find the perfect sitting area. When element sofa Finn came up on Instagram, they immediately knew it was a match.
Future plans
The round dining table is currently a favorite place in the house because it is so cozy to dine together. What is still on the planning is a metamorphosis of the hall. This will have the same style as the living room with beautiful wallpaper and lime paint. The garden will also get a Mediterranean atmosphere.
Stay close to yourself
"Stay close to yourself and choose what you like" gives Duifina as an interior design tip. She herself likes to visit a thrift store. It results in unexpected, fun finds. That's where the two wooden dining chairs came from!
