Already a year ago, we paid a visit to Floor from @washplate where sofa Nord was shining in the living room. In the meantime, since a couple of months, the family is enjoying element sofa Finn. Time for a new look inside their house!
A warm and minimalistic interior
The soft minimalistic style can still be seen in the living room. Sofa Finn in the color Simply Beige suits perfectly in here. Something that has remained unchanged is the love for DIY projects. The living room is filled with beautiful homemade objects, from 3D artworks to a wooden room divider.

DIY Projects
The DIY project that Floor remembered the most has to be the wall element with the standing cabinet. This one is placed next to the sitting area. The lower part consists of a frame and panels where a compartment cabinet is placed next to it. Follower still regularly ask questions about it and are curious about the making of this cabinet. 
Roll up your sleeves
Floor certainly isn't finished yet with changing the living room. On the schedule is a new project, namely adding trim along the ceiling. "We hope to make the whole thing a little less sleek this way and bring back a piece of the 1930s," she says. Work is also being done outside the house. On the wish list is making a small pergola in the garden.

In the sitting area we now find element sofa Finn set 2 with a separate element. "An advantage of the element sofa is that you can vary the set-up in the room. Right now the seperate element is placed next to the fireplace. The children find it a nice place to watch TV."
A creative mindset
It is obvious that Floor likes to be busy. From DIY projects, she often makes reels for on Instagram to inspire followers. She also writes blogs and has photography assignments in addition to her work at a psychology practice. The blogs and photography are creative activities and both related to interior design and lifestyle.
Good resolutions
In addition to all these fun projects, Floor also enjoys her family immensely. For example, she enjoys standing along the sidelines cheering on her son in soccer. A good resolution for 2024? A better balance between exertion and relaxation. More pleasant moments together as a family and making beautiful memories.
