The family moved to this house last year. To adapt it to your own taste, a lot was painted, new floors were installed and the kitchen was custom-made. Sonja was given the name “sister” as a nickname by her brother and friends. She is active on Instagram under @zusinterieur. Originated as a hobby, because styling, photography and interior design are a great passion.

Calm base with a pop of colour
Sonja's style is varied. A good foundation is very important. Scandinavian and eclectic are preferred. A calm base but, combined with some color here and there. “This way you can alternate the accessories to give a different look to your interior. It makes the space a bit more playful.”

The living room is a large space. It invites you to create different setups. Element sofa Finn was the perfect choice: “You can place the sofa differently every time, so you can create nice corners.” The color “Green Moss” matches the calm base in the interior. Sonja likes to sit on the couch. In the morning she likes to drink her cup of coffee with her cat Flip and they watch the birds together.
Unique cuisine
The most unique part of the house is the kitchen. The natural stone top in combination with the walnut front color gives warmth to the room. Sonja likes to work at the kitchen table. In her daily life she is a content creator and can express a lot of creativity in her work. But also taking interior photos of the house for her own Insta account. A nice interaction between work and hobby. Tip from Sonja: “Follow your own feelings and look for what you like. It's nice when you can see that you have created your own style in your home.”
